What'll you whittle at Calthorpe House?

Can you whittle the shape of wooden clothes peg from a carrot? Local craftsman Harry Townsend will teach children how to use our child-safe knives to carve something special. Find out how the old cubby was kept warm and cosy, go on a guided tour of the house, and join us on a walk on Red Hill to discover the bushland. Children and adults will also enjoy a warm, buttery potato to keep away the winter chill!

For children aged 7-12 years (1 adult carer per child required, adults attend free of charge.)
