Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is located in a beautiful valley nested at the base of the Tidbinbilla Range, only a 40 minute drive South West of Canberra's city centre. The landscape is varied and spectacular. Ranging from the dominant peaks of Mount Tidbinbilla and Mount Domain, through to peaceful dry eucalypt forests, woodlands, sheltered streams, majestic open grass lands and calming wetlands, all abundant with native wildlife. It is an ideal place to see native wildlife with the reserve supporting over 160 bird species, 30 reptile species and 34 mammal species. Favourites include Koalas, Eastern Grey Kangaroos, Emus, Echidnas, Pelicans, Wallabies and Platypus.
