The rainforest gully at the Botanic gardens has a lower and upper boardwalk to explore, easy walking for toddlers to teenagers and every age in between. Every day the gardens are misted with a fine spray so you can experience some “natural air conditioning.” A great place to cool down with your kids during heat waves in summer. Search for the Dinosaur Tree (Wollemi pine.) Take photos of the drops on the Spider webs. Take an inside/outside thermometer along and compare the temperature difference in the lower gully and back up on the road.
