Nature Play Day

Give your kids the gift of a digital detox by spending the day in nature.

Slowing down and spending time outdoors has proven positive benefits for development and well being. Children have opportunities to create their own games, use their spacial and negotiation skills and can engage in activities that capture their imagination.

Dates: Wednesday 30 September or Thursday 1 October 2020
Time: 9am - 4pm
Ages: 6-10 years
Meet at the Village Centre Information Desk.

This new full day program will involve spending time in the forest playing, building and exploring as well as creating and making back in the Terrace Room and Gallery of Gardens. This program does involve walking. If your child requires any additional support, please be in touch so that we can discuss options with you.
This program will still run in rain - There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing so please pack suitable clothing for the weather forecast for the day. It can be very windy at the Arboretum so a windproof layer is recommended.

If any children or adults are unwell, we ask that you stay at home.
