Campaigns
Nature Play WA has spent the past 10 years developing a connected and engaged audience of parents, teachers, educators and members of the wider community, and are a trusted voice in advocating for children's rights to play in the outdoors.
We work with movements and campaigns that align with our mission to get children outdoors in active and creative play for their physical and mental health and wellbeing, and we deliver excellent outcomes for our partners.
Outdoor Classroom Day Movement
Nature Play WA leads the Australian campaign of Outdoor Classroom Day, and with support from our sister organisations and state partners around the country, we reach out to every school and early learning centre in Australia!
The movement, led globally by SEMBLE, and supported by Unilever's Dirt Is Good campaign celebrates and inspires outdoor learning and play. More than just "one day", our aim is to get as many children as possible playing and learning outside, every day, with a celebration of outdoor learning and play!
Since our involvement began in 2017, we have grown the movement to involve 9,265 teachers and educators around the country, who have registered 1,068,139 (and counting!) children to take part. Read more...
