  1. Bunduluk Bush Playgroup

Come and discover the beauty of natural spaces within the Canberra region that you may have never visited before, while creating treasured memories with your children. Our playgroup program offers a variety of play experiences for children in a bush environment and includes story time and craft. Through regular play in the bush, we aspire for our children to develop resilience, confidence, and a sense of connection to nature. FULL - we will open our waiting list for 2018 in December 2017. Pls contact us then.
  2. Orienteering ACT

Orienteering ACT provides fun, safe navigation activities, for children and their families, in Canberra and surrounds. Come along and enjoy outdoor events suitable for all levels of fitness and experience. Embrace the challenge of getting out in nature and finding your way using a map. Can you find all the checkpoints?
  3. ACT Rogaining Association

The ACT rogaining association holds about eight events each year. They are definitely suitable for children accompanied by adults. Our events combine opportunities for getting out in the bush with using maps. Rogaining is like a treasure hunt - you look for coloured checkpoints throughout the bush. We organise a number of events specifically designed for less experienced navigators, although all events are suitable. You take a walk (or run) at entirely your own pace.
  4. Sticks and Stones Nature Playgroup

We connect children and their families/carers with nature by basing the playgroup experience in an outdoor environment. Our outdoor play space is a child wonderland with cubby houses, mud kitchen, stick teepee, music wall, water play, sandpit, raised garden beds, hammock and plenty more. In addition, we run seasonally themed craft, sensory and/or outdoor activities weekly. Visit our Facebook page (via website link) to see what themed events are coming up.
  5. Canberra Bushwalking Club

The Canberra Bushwalking Club offers activities for families, in addition to activities for adults. The activities include - PRAMBulations for parents or grandparents with kids in strollers - Explorer walk for families with 3 to 6 year olds - Adventure walks for families with older kids Plus some of our easier walks are suitable for baby-wearing parents.
